Material & finish

The owl is laser-cut from 3 mm plywood. This gives it the typical fine browned edge that adds depth to the shape. The top side has scored outlines showing the face and feathers. The underside is left plain. The wood is untreated, so it is neither varnished nor stained. You can glue, paint or oil it directly. Wood is a natural material, so every piece has its own grain. Some are lighter, some darker, and some have small knots. This is not a flaw. It is what makes every owl one of a kind. It is made in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia.
