The feather is made of 3 mm plywood and laser-cut in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia. That is why the edges have the typical brown rim, which gives the motif a fine outline. The edges are smooth, so you can start straight away without any finishing. The wood is untreated, neither varnished nor glazed. It takes paint, glue or oil well. As a natural material, every piece has its own texture. The shade varies, and small knots or irregularities in the grain may occur. This makes every wooden feather one of a kind and is not a defect.
