Not sure which to choose? With a Bütic gift voucher you can never get it wrong.Advent is just around the corner. Paints, glue and fairy lights are already on the table. All that's missing is the shape that brings it all together. A wooden cone brings a bit of forest and winter into your Christmas decorations, with no resin and no needles. The spruce cone V2 cutout is made from untreated poplar plywood and suits your craft table perfectly. You decorate it to match your home.
What changes for you
- You can start decorating straight away instead of drawing first. All the outlines of the cone are already scored into the top.
- You can paint it, stick things on it or oil it, just as you like. The wood is untreated and takes paint well.
- Your decoration fits exactly where you want it, from a small gift tag to a large window decoration. You choose the height from 5 to 50 cm in 1 cm steps.
- It is pleasant to work with and needs no sanding or tidying up. The laser cut gives smooth edges and a clean finish.
- You can easily supply craft groups, nurseries or your Christmas market stall. Sets of 10, 25, 50 or 100 pieces are available.
Why this wooden cone makes a difference every day
A cone belongs to winter just as candlelight belongs to Advent. As a wooden shape, it brings this motif into your decorations for good, and without any mess. You don't need to clean and dry cones you have found outside. Instead, you have an even, sturdy shape that you can redecorate year after year. The result is winter decoration that looks calm and natural and is still clearly your own.
Material & finish
The cone is laser-cut in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia. This gives precise shapes and smooth edges that don't fray or splinter. The poplar plywood is untreated, neither varnished nor glazed. This means you can paint it, oil it or stick things on it. Wood is a natural material. Differences in shade, fine grain patterns and small knots are part of it. They make every piece one of a kind. This is not a flaw but the nature of real wood.

How to use the wooden cone
- Christmas crafts in Advent: paint the cone and decorate it with glitter or natural materials. Now you have a window decoration you made yourself, and it builds a little more excitement every day.
- Crafting with children: the scored outlines give clear guidance. At the end, everyone is proud of their own cone for the Christmas tree.
- For wreaths and arrangements: place small cones between fir branches and candles. Your Advent wreath gets a motif that doesn't drop needles and can be used again every year.
- As a gift tag or for Christmas cards: tie a small cone to a ribbon and write a name on it. Your parcel looks lovingly made before it is even opened.
- In a café, bakery or at a market stall: large cones for window and counter displays can be set up in a few minutes. With sets of up to 100 pieces, you can also decorate larger areas.
Good to know about cones
By the way, the cones you find on the forest floor on a winter walk usually come from spruce trees. Fir cones break apart on the tree and never fall down whole. This familiar shape from the forest makes the cone a classic of winter and Christmas decorations. It brings back memories of walks, the scent of fir trees and Advent.
Care & durability
There isn't much to do. Stored in a dry place, the cutout lasts for many seasons and can be redecorated again and again. As the wood is untreated, protect it from constant moisture. For outdoor use, apply a protective coat of varnish or oil first.

Frequently asked questions
Can I paint the cone or stick things on it? Yes. The wood is untreated, neither varnished nor glazed. You can paint it, oil it, stick things on it and decorate it freely.
Are both sides the same? No. The top has the scored outlines. The back is smooth and untreated.
Why do the cones look slightly different? Wood is a natural material. Shade, grain and small knots vary. Every piece is one of a kind.
How do height and width relate? As a reference: at a height of 10 cm, the cone is 5 cm wide. The proportions stay the same in all sizes.
What counts is more than a piece of plywood. It is the afternoon when a simple shape becomes your own winter decoration. And it is the window where it then hangs all through Advent. Just choose your size and quantity. The rest happens at your craft table.
