Father's Day breakfast is planned. The children want to make a quick present. But you're missing a motif that really suits the occasion. A wooden bottle opener for crafting is just the right canvas. It's a laser-cut poplar plywood cutout. You can paint it, decorate it or write on it, just as you like. It's made for your next crafting afternoon – from small gift tags to large wall decorations.

What changes for you

  • You can start creating straight away instead of cutting first. The bottle opener arrives ready laser-cut with smooth edges.
  • Your motif fits your project exactly. You choose the height from 5 to 50 cm in 1 cm steps.
  • You can paint, glue, oil or varnish it without sanding first. The wood is natural and untreated.
  • You order exactly the quantity you need. Order one for a single present or a set of up to 100 for the whole crafting table.
  • Your finished piece stands out thanks to its clean finish. The typical brown laser edge neatly frames the motif.

Why this wooden bottle opener makes a difference in everyday life

A good craft project depends on the blank. When the shape and edges are right, you can focus on colours, lettering and ideas. And the result looks just the way you imagined it. Use it as decoration in your party room, as a tag on a present or as a homemade sign at your home bar. The bottle opener motif instantly brings a wink of humour to the room.

Material & finish

The cutout is made from 3 mm poplar plywood and is laser-cut. That's where the smooth edges come from, along with the distinctive brown edge that outlines the motif. The surface is untreated, not varnished and not glazed. So it takes paint, glue and oil well. Every piece is made in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia. Wood is a purely natural material, so every cutout turns out a little differently. Some are lighter, some darker, with fine structures in the grain or small knots. This isn't a flaw. It's exactly what makes each piece one of a kind.

How to use the bottle opener

  • Making a Father's Day present: Paint the opener with a name and the year. Dad gets a one-of-a-kind piece he definitely doesn't have yet.
  • Making money gifts: A banknote, a bottle opener motif and a short message. The envelope becomes a present with a story.
  • Crafting with children: Every child decorates their own cutout. Smooth edges, no pre-cutting. At the end, everyone proudly holds their own creation.
  • At home in the party room or at the home bar: Choose a large cutout and write "Bar" or your family name on it. The corner instantly feels like yours.
  • For hospitality and drinks retailers: Use it as a decoration you can write on at the counter, on shelves or in the shop window. Mark special offers and product ranges. It's quick to put up and gives a uniform look.

Good to know about the bottle opener

The crown cap was invented in the USA at the end of the 19th century. Only then did the bottle opener become a regular companion in kitchens, pubs and pockets. That's why the motif works so well as a gift idea for beer lovers, for a barbecue or as decoration around the counter and home bar.

Care & durability

There isn't much you need to do. Store the untreated cutout in a dry place and keep it away from constant moisture. Then the wood keeps its shape. Painting or oiling it gives the surface extra protection. And your motif stays as fresh as on the first day for a long time.

  • Height of your choice: 5 cm to 50 cm in 1 cm steps

Frequently asked questions

Can I open bottles with the cutout? No. It's a decorative and craft motif made of 3 mm plywood in the shape of a bottle opener. It's for decorating, not for opening.

Can I paint or glue things onto the wood? Yes. The poplar plywood is untreated. You can varnish, paint, glue or oil it without any preparation.

Why does the cutout have a brown edge? The edge is created during laser cutting and is part of the typical look. It neatly frames the motif.

Does every piece look the same? Not quite. Wood is a natural material with different shades, structures in the grain and occasionally small knots. That's exactly what makes each cutout one of a kind.

What counts is the moment someone unwraps your homemade present and can't help grinning. Simply choose your height and quantity – and get started.
