The flying squirrel is laser-cut from 3 mm thick plywood in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia. The laser cut leaves the typical brown edge, which gives the silhouette a fine outline. It also creates smooth edges that feel pleasant in your hand and are ready to use without finishing. Because the wood is untreated, paint and glue take well. As a natural material, every piece shows its own grain. Some are lighter, some darker, and some have small knots. That's not a flaw – it's what makes each flying squirrel one of a kind.
