The peace dove is laser-cut from 3 mm poplar plywood. This gives it the typical brown edge. The edge finely traces the silhouette and gives it a clear outline. The edges are smooth and the finish is clean. So you can pick up the dove straight away and work with it. The wood is untreated, not varnished or glazed. Some pieces are lighter, others darker. They may show small knots or differences in the grain. This is not a flaw. It makes each piece unique. Every dove is made in Bütic's own production in Pößneck, Thuringia.
