Why this wooden frog makes a difference in everyday life
Ready-made decorations often look the same everywhere. A wooden blank, on the other hand, becomes exactly what you make of it. A child can paint it in bright colours. You can oil it lightly for the windowsill. Or you can use it as a recurring motif in your seasonal decorations. That way you create decorations for your home or shop window in your own style, not someone else's.
Material & finish
The frog is laser-cut from 3 mm plywood and made in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia. The laser cut leaves smooth edges with the typical brown rim. This rim frames the motif and outlines the silhouette. The wood is left natural, not varnished or glazed. You can paint it, glue things to it or oil it, just as your project needs. As a natural material, every piece shows its own grain, small knots or colour variations. This is not a flaw. It makes every frog one of a kind.

- Spring and garden decorations: Place a few frogs painted green on the windowsill. The spot instantly looks lively and seasonal.
- As a gift tag or glued onto cards: A small 5 cm frog turns a plain parcel into a personal greeting.
- At nursery, at school or in a craft group: With a set of 25, 50 or 100 pieces, you have an identical motif for every child. No cutting, no preparation.
- In a shop window, café or market stall: A large frog up to 50 cm wide draws attention to your spring promotion. It is quick to set up and you can design it your way.
Good to know about the frog
The frog has long been seen as a lucky charm. In many cultures it stands for new beginnings and transformation. Ever since the fairy tale of the Frog Prince, it has been part of children's picture world. That is why the motif suits more than spring and garden decorations. It also works as a small good-luck wish for starting school or a christening. Or simply as a small handmade gift.
Care & durability
There is not much you need to do. The untreated plywood needs no special care, but it should be kept dry. If you paint or oil the frog, you give the surface extra protection. That way your decoration stays looking good for a long time.

Frequently asked questions
Can I paint the frog or glue things to it? Yes. The wood is untreated, neither varnished nor glazed. You can paint it, glue things to it, oil it or decorate it in other ways.
Why does the frog have a brown edge? The frog is laser-cut. This creates the typical brown rim along the edges. It is part of the process and gives the motif a clear outline.
Do all frogs look the same? The shape is identical for all of them. Wood is a natural material, so brightness and grain vary slightly. Small knots are normal too. This makes every piece one of a kind.
How big is the frog at a width of 10 cm? At a chosen width of 10 cm, the height is 8.5 cm. The other sizes scale accordingly.
Is the frog available in larger quantities? Yes. As well as single pieces, you can order sets of 10, 25, 50 or 100. They are ideal for craft groups, schools or shop decorations, for example.
A plywood silhouette is only the starting point. What counts is the moment your child holds up their finished, painted frog. Or the moment your decoration looks exactly as you pictured it. Simply choose your size and quantity. The rest is up to you.
