The children's birthday party is coming up and the theme is safari. Brushes, paints and glue are ready on the craft table. What's still missing is a shape that gives the project its form straight away. This wooden gazelle in plywood is made for your next craft afternoon. Just choose the height you need. Step by step, the raw cutout becomes your very own decoration.

What changes for you

  • You can start right away if you want to paint, decorate or oil your gazelle. The wood is untreated and takes paint, varnish and glue well.
  • You get exactly the size that fits your project. You can choose any height from 5 to 50 cm in 1 cm steps.
  • You work without sandpaper and without splinters at the edges. The laser cut leaves smooth edges.
  • You can supply larger craft groups or whole shop windows without reordering single pieces. Sets of 10, 25, 50 or 100 pieces are available.
  • You get a neatly finished piece. It's made in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia.

Why this wooden gazelle makes a difference day to day

A ready-cut shape takes the hardest part off your hands. You don't need to draw, saw or finish anything. Instead, you can focus fully on designing. Use it as a window decoration, as table scatter on the birthday table or in a child's bedroom. The clear silhouette looks calm and balanced even in its natural state. And once you paint it, the cutout becomes a piece that exists only once.

Material & finish

The gazelle is laser-cut from 3 mm plywood. It has the typical fine brown edge. This edge is part of the laser cut and gives the shape a natural outline. The edges are smooth and the finish is clean. So the cutout feels pleasant to touch and is ready to work with. Wood is a purely natural material. It varies in shade, shows different grain patterns and may have small knots. This makes every piece one of a kind – it is not a defect.

How to use the wooden gazelle

  • Crafting with children: Each child paints their own gazelle. At the end of the afternoon, they take home a keepsake they made themselves.
  • For a safari theme party: Use small gazelles as table scatter or as tags for place cards. Your table tells a story before the first course is served.
  • In a child's bedroom: Place a large gazelle, painted or natural, on the shelf or on the wall. The animal theme then runs through the whole room.
  • In a shop or shop window: With a set of 25 or 50 pieces, you can decorate the counter and display in a uniform style. It's quick to set up and easy to change again.
  • For school, nursery or craft groups: The large sets with up to 100 pieces give everyone the same shape. And you save yourself preparing individual templates.

Good to know about the gazelle

The gazelle has long been a symbol of grace and lightness. There's a reason people say "graceful as a gazelle". That's why the shape suits safari and Africa decorations so well. It also fits children's rooms with an animal theme. And it works for any occasion where you want to bring some energy and elegance to the table.

Care & durability

There's not much you need to do. Store the untreated cutouts in a dry place and keep them away from constant moisture. Then they keep their shape and look good for a long time. If you want to protect the surface or add colour, you can paint, oil or glue things onto the wood as you like.

Options & what's included

  • Height of your choice: 5 cm to 50 cm, in 1 cm steps
  • Available singly or in sets of 10, 25, 50 or 100
  • The wooden cutout is supplied in its natural state – unpainted and untreated

Frequently asked questions

Can I paint the gazelle or glue things onto it? Yes. The plywood is untreated. You can paint it, oil it, glue things onto it or decorate it in other ways – just as you like.

Why does the shape have a brown edge? The edge comes from laser cutting and is typical of this process. It also gives you smooth edges with no finishing needed.

Do all cutouts look the same? The shape is identical, but the wood isn't. As a natural material, it varies in shade. The grain may show small irregularities or knots. Every piece is unique.

How wide is the gazelle at the height I choose? As a guide: at a height of 10 cm, the width is 9.5 cm. The proportions stay the same for all sizes.

A raw piece of wood becomes something of your own in your hands. Then you can proudly put it on the table or on the shelf. Just choose your size and get started.
