The figures are made from 3 mm plywood. They are laser cut in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia. That is where the typical brown edges come from, which frame the motif nicely. The surface is light and cleanly finished, so paint and glue stick well. Wood is a purely natural material. Its shade varies, and the grain may show small irregularities or knots. This makes every figure unique – it is not a flaw.
