Why this wooden face makes a difference every day
A ready-made blank saves you the hardest part: sawing it out. You can focus on the fun part – designing, painting, decorating. And you get a result you're happy to show off sooner. When crafting with children, the clear, pre-marked expression helps little hands make a face that turns out well.
Material & finish
Angry Willy is laser cut from plywood and made in our own production in Pößneck. The edges are smooth and the finish is clean. So the cutout feels good in your hand and needs no sanding before you carry on. The wood is untreated, neither varnished nor stained. Its shade varies. Small knots and fine structures in the grain may occur. That's simply what real wood is like. Every piece is unique, not faulty.

How to use Angry Willy
- As a mood board in a nursery, classroom or office: Willy hangs on the wall next to his cheerful friends. Everyone can see at a glance how the day is going.
- Crafting with children at the kitchen table: the little ones colour in the pre-marked expression. And they're proud of a face that really looks like something.
- As a play figure or tag: drill a hole or glue on a ribbon. Then Willy dangles from a school bag, a keyring or a present.
- On cards and small gifts: a grumpy Willy with a tongue-in-cheek message. Your card is sure to be remembered.
- In a shop or café: displayed as part of a row of expressions on a board or counter, the set gives a consistent, lovingly designed look. In large quantities it also suits promotions and workshops.
Good to know about the angry face
Simple faces with clear expressions have long been used as mood boards in nurseries and schools. Children often find it easier to show feelings than to name them. That's exactly what Angry Willy is for. Together with other faces, he forms a small, hands-on scale of feelings.
Care & durability
There's not much you need to do. Store the untreated cutout in a dry place and avoid constant moisture. Then the wood keeps its shape and its light, natural look for a long time. If you paint or oil Willy, the surface gets extra protection.
