And the plain blank becomes your very own piece of the animal kingdom.

- You're free to design it just the way you imagine – because the wood is untreated and can be painted, decorated, varnished or oiled.
- You'll find exactly the size that suits your project. The width can be chosen from 5 to 50 cm in 1 cm steps.
- Your motif looks lively even before you paint it. That's because the giraffe's face and contours are cut into the surface.
- Working with it is easy, with no finishing needed – the laser-cut edges are smooth and cleanly cut.
- You can also supply larger groups, for example when crafting with kids. The giraffe is available single or as a set of 10, 25, 50 or 100.
Why this wooden giraffe makes a difference every day
On the birthday table, in the children's room or at the window: a motif made of real wood brings a warmth into the room that printed card can't match. The giraffe suits any theme around safari, zoo and wildlife. It works well in all of these settings. And because you design it yourself, every figure ends up with a bit of you in it.
Material & finish
The giraffe is laser-cut from 3 mm plywood in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia. The laser cut creates the typical brown edge. It gives the motif a fine, natural outline. The top shows the cut contour lines with the face and markings. The underside is left natural. The wood is untreated, neither varnished nor glazed. This means paint and glue stick reliably. As a purely natural material, every piece is unique. Different shades, fine textures in the grain and small knots are not flaws. They are part of the wood's character.

How to use the wooden giraffe
- Crafting with kids: every child paints their own giraffe. At the end of the party, they take home a keepsake they made themselves.
- In the children's room: several giraffes in different sizes on the wall or window. A bare corner turns into a little safari landscape.
- On the birthday table: one motif at each place. The little guests have something to discover even before the cake arrives.
- As gift decoration: stick a small giraffe on a parcel. Even plain brown paper looks thoughtfully designed.
- For businesses: as decoration for shop windows, nurseries, children's cafés or shop counters. With sets of up to 100, you can plan the cutouts in consistent quality and the right size. No cutting, no finishing work.
Good to know about the wooden giraffe
The brown edge is created by the heat of the laser beam during cutting. So it's no accident – it's the hallmark of precisely laser-cut wooden motifs. For you, this has a nice side effect. The dark edge frames the giraffe like a fine outline. So the motif already looks finished without any paint.
Care & durability
There isn't much you need to do. Store the giraffe in a dry place and keep the untreated wood away from constant moisture. That way it keeps its smooth surface for a long time. If you want to protect it permanently, you can simply paint, oil or glaze it.

Frequently asked questions
Can I paint the giraffe or stick things on it? Yes. The wood is untreated, neither varnished nor glazed. You can paint it, stick things on it, coat it or oil it.
Are both sides the same? No. The top shows the face and contours cut into the surface. The underside is left natural.
How tall is the giraffe at a given width? As a reference: at 10 cm wide, it is 9 cm tall. The proportions stay the same for all sizes.
Why don't all the cutouts look exactly the same? Wood is a natural material. Different shades, fine textures and small knots are normal and make every piece unique.
Where does the brown edge come from? It is created during laser cutting and is typical of this cutting method. The edges are smooth and clean.
