The rooster is laser-cut from 3 mm plywood. This leaves the typical brown rim along the edges. It's a recognisable sign of this cutting method and gives the motif a clear outline. The surface is untreated, not varnished and not glazed. This means paints, varnishes, oils and glues take well. Wood is a purely natural material and it shows. Variations in shade, fine structures in the grain and small knots are normal and make every piece one of a kind. The rooster is made in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia, and carefully finished.
