The flat cutouts are made of 3 mm plywood. They are laser-cut in our own production in Pößneck. That is where the smooth edges and the typical brown rim come from. The rim clearly outlines the shape. The wood stays untreated, not varnished and not glazed. It takes paint, glue and oil well. As a natural material, it varies in shade and grain and sometimes has small knots. This makes each piece unique – it is not a defect.
