- Your motif fits exactly what you have in mind, from a small scatter piece to a large window picture. You can choose any height from 3 to 50 cm in 1 cm steps.
- You can relax while crafting, even with children – because the laser-cut edges are smooth and nothing needs sanding.
- You can supply whole craft groups, school classes or your shop decoration in one go. Sets of 10, 25, 50 or 100 pieces are available.
- Even unpainted, your witch hat has a typical, slightly browned laser edge. It clearly outlines the shape.
Why this wooden witch hat makes a difference in everyday life
When you decorate and design your witch hat yourself, you get decoration that really suits your home. No mass-produced plastic. The natural material brings calm to your Halloween decorations. It also feels pleasant to work with. And because you choose the size freely, the motif fits exactly where you need it: in the window, on the table or at the shop counter.
Material & finish
The witch hat is laser-cut from 3 mm plywood. This gives a clean, precise outline and smooth edges that won't scratch anyone's fingers. The wood is left natural, so it is neither varnished nor glazed. That way it reliably takes paint, glaze, oil or glue. Every cutout is made in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia. Wood is a purely natural material, so each piece turns out a little different. The shade varies, the grain is unique, and sometimes there are small knots. This makes every witch hat one of a kind.

How to use the witch hat
- Crafting with children on an autumn afternoon: each child paints their own hat. By the evening, a whole parade of witch hats hangs in the window.
- For a Halloween party: use small hats as table scatter on the buffet or as place tags. Your guests will see the theme of the evening as soon as they sit down.
- At nursery or school: with a set of 25 or 50 pieces, every child has a blank in their hands. You don't have to spend hours cutting them out beforehand.
- In a bakery, café or at a market stall: a large, painted witch hat in the display marks the season in October. It's quick to set up and easy to put away again.
- As a gift tag or glued onto cards: a small hat turns plain packaging into a lovingly designed autumn gift.
Good to know about the witch's hat
For centuries, the pointed, wide-brimmed hat has been part of the classic image of the witch in fairy tales and folklore. Hardly any symbol stands for Halloween so clearly. That's why the simple silhouette is enough for everyone to recognise your motif straight away. It's ideal for window pictures, garlands and table decorations around 31 October.
Care & durability
There isn't much you need to do. The plywood is untreated, so it's best to store the cutout in a dry place and keep it away from constant moisture. If you want to use it outdoors, a coat of paint or glaze protects the wood. That way your decoration stays looking good for many Halloween seasons.

Frequently asked questions
Can I paint the witch hat and stick things on it? Yes. The plywood is untreated and takes paint, glue, glaze and oil directly. No sanding or primer needed.
Why is the edge brown? The cutout is laser-cut. This creates the typical brown edge that emphasises the outline. The edges are smooth.
How does the width relate to the height I choose? At a height of 10 cm, the width is approx. 13.3 cm. The other sizes are proportional.
Do all cutouts look the same? The shape is identical, the wood is not. As a natural material, it varies in shade and can show fine textures or small knots. Every piece is one of a kind.
