Why this wooden caveman makes a difference day to day
You simply look at a ready-made plastic figure. A wooden figure you've decorated yourself tells a story. The caveman gives you a basic shape that invites children and adults to carry on. Paint it, glue on fur, add a club. What you end up with isn't just any decoration. It's your own Stone Age figure for the project wall, the shop window or the birthday table.
Material & finish
The caveman is laser-cut from 3 mm plywood. This gives it the typical brown edge, which suits the prehistoric look of the silhouette. The top shows the scored outline with the face and details. The back is left natural. The wood is untreated, neither varnished nor glazed. Paints, glues and oils adhere particularly well to it. Every figure is made in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia, and carefully finished. Wood is a natural material. Brightness, grain and small knots always vary a little. That makes each piece unique.

- In a Stone Age school project: Several figures in different sizes fill the diorama. The model instantly gains depth and life.
- As themed table decoration: Place a small caveman at every seat. Your guests have something to smile about before the first game even starts.
- In a shop or museum shop: Use it as decoration in the shop window or as a craft kit for a holiday programme. The sets of 10 to 100 pieces make planning for groups easy.
- Decorate it however you like: Cover it with fabric scraps, paint it or oil it. The natural wood works with any design idea.
Facts about cavemen
Cave paintings like those in the Lascaux cave in France are among humanity's oldest known works of art. So people were already painting and creating in the Stone Age. This figure picks up on that. When you paint the caveman, you're doing what our ancestors began thousands of years ago. It's a nice thought for school projects and Stone Age theme days.
Care & durability
There isn't much to do. Stored dry, the caveman keeps its shape and light wood look for a long time. The plywood is untreated, so avoid constant moisture. If you want to use the figure outdoors, protect it first with paint, varnish or oil.

Frequently asked questions
Can I paint the caveman or stick things on it? Yes. The wood is untreated and in its natural state. You can paint it, decorate it with glued-on materials, coat it or oil it.
Why does the figure have a brown edge? The caveman is laser-cut. This creates the typical brown edge. It comes from the cutting process and also gives you smooth edges that need no sanding.
Is the figure the same on both sides? No. The top has the scored outline with the face and details. The back is left natural.
Why don't all the figures look exactly the same? Wood is a natural material. Brightness, grain and small knots vary from piece to piece. That makes every figure unique.
