The wedding table is laid, the place cards are ready – and at every seat a little horseshoe is waiting for your guests as a lucky charm. This wooden horseshoe is made for moments just like that: a horseshoe decoration in untreated plywood that you can paint, decorate with stickers and embellishments or simply give as it is, in natural wood. A simple wooden shape becomes your very own personal wish for good luck.

What changes for you

  • You can design your decoration exactly the way you picture it – because the wood is untreated and can be painted, oiled, written on or decorated.
  • You can craft in a relaxed way, even with children – thanks to the smooth, laser-cut edges with no rough spots.
  • You'll find the right size for every idea – from a small 3 cm table scatter piece to a 50 cm door decoration, available in 1 cm steps.
  • You'll quickly have enough lucky charms for a wedding, New Year's Eve or a housewarming – because the horseshoe is available individually or in sets of 10, 25, 50 or 100.
  • You're giving something with character. Every horseshoe is made in our own production in Pößneck. Each one shows the natural grain of real wood.

Why this horseshoe decoration makes a difference

A horseshoe says it without many words: I wish you luck. Whether as a small gesture at each place setting, as a gift tag or as a motif in your window decoration – the clear shape makes an instant impression, yet you can design it anew time and again. Instead of mass-produced items, you're putting something on the table that carries your personal touch. That's how a simple wooden cutout becomes a keepsake people remember.

Material & finish

The horseshoe is made from 3 mm plywood and laser-cut – which gives it the typical, finely browned edge that neatly defines its outline. The edges are smooth and the finish is tidy, so you can start creating straight away. The wood is untreated, neither varnished nor glazed: paints, varnishes, oils and glues adhere well. And because wood is a purely natural material, every piece turns out slightly different – variations in shade, fine grain and small knots are part of it and make each horseshoe unique, not flawed.

How to use your wooden horseshoe

  • For a wedding: a small horseshoe at every seat or scattered across the table – and your guests take a little piece of luck home with them.
  • On New Year's Eve: write the year or a name on it and the horseshoe becomes a little gift that lasts longer than any sparkler.
  • For a housewarming: a large horseshoe, painted and hung above the door, welcomes friends with a classic symbol of good luck.
  • Crafting horseshoes with children: paint, decorate, hang with ribbon – the smooth edges make creating easy, and the result brightens up windows or children's rooms.
  • In shops or cafés: as a decorative horseshoe in the shop window, on the counter or as a small gift for customers at New Year – with sets from 10 pieces, you're quickly stocked up.

Good to know about the horseshoe

The horseshoe has been considered a lucky charm for centuries – traditionally it was hung above the front door to bring good luck into the home. That's exactly why it suits occasions when you want to pass on good wishes so well: weddings, New Year's Eve or moving into a new home.

Care & durability

There's not much you need to do: store the untreated wood in a dry place and keep it away from prolonged moisture, and it will keep its shape and good looks for a long time. If you paint, oil or varnish it, you give the surface extra protection – and your decoration exactly the shade that suits you.

Frequently asked questions

Can I paint or decorate the horseshoe? Yes. The plywood is untreated, neither varnished nor glazed – paints, varnishes, oils and glues adhere well, so it's ideal as a horseshoe for crafting.

Why does the horseshoe have a brown edge? That's the typical laser edge: laser cutting creates a fine, dark edge that neatly defines the shape and is part of its natural character.

Do all horseshoes look the same? The shape does, the wood doesn't. As a natural material, every piece shows its own grain, variations in shade and sometimes small knots – each horseshoe is unique.

Is the horseshoe suitable for outdoor use? The wood is untreated and should be protected from prolonged moisture. For outdoor use, we recommend a protective coat of varnish or oil.

In the end, it's not about a wooden cutout. It's about the moment someone holds the horseshoe you designed yourself and smiles – because you're wishing them luck. Just choose your size and quantity; the rest is up to your imagination.
