The cutout is made from 3 mm plywood and laser-cut in our own production at Bütic in Pößneck. That is why it has clean, smooth edges and the typical brown rim. The wood is untreated, neither varnished nor glazed. So you can paint it, glue things on or oil it, just as you like. Wood is a natural material and is never completely even. Different shades, fine structures in the grain and small knots are normal. This makes every piece one of a kind.
