The baby Jesus is laser cut from 3 mm poplar plywood. It has the typical, finely browned laser edge. This edge emphasises the outline and gives the motif depth. The wood is untreated, neither varnished nor glazed. That is why it takes paint, glue or oil well. Wood is a purely natural material. Brightness and grain vary slightly from piece to piece, and small knots are normal. This makes every piece one of a kind. It is made in Thuringia, with clean workmanship.
