Not sure which to choose? With a Bütic gift voucher you can never get it wrong. The coffee table is laid. The café window sill still looks a little bare. A small motif is missing, one that says straight away: coffee is served here. That's exactly what this wooden coffee cup is made for. It's a clear silhouette in 3 mm poplar plywood. You can paint it, decorate it or simply stand it up unfinished. It's ideal for your kitchen decor. Use it as a wooden coffee cup on the counter or as a craft motif at the kitchen table. Either way, it makes the room feel cosy in no time.
What changes for you
- You design the motif just the way you like it – because the wood is untreated and can be painted, decorated, coated or oiled.
- You get exactly the size that fits your space – thanks to a choice of heights from 5 to 50 cm in 1 cm steps.
- You can start crafting without any sanding – because laser cutting leaves smooth edges that feel good in your hand.
- Larger projects are easy to kit out too. Buy them individually or in sets of 10, 25, 50 or 100.
- Your motif looks like real wood, not plastic – the typical brown laser edge gives the silhouette a subtle outline.
Why this wooden coffee cup makes a difference every day
A wooden coffee cup in the right spot changes the mood of a room. The kitchen feels homelier. The coffee table looks lovingly prepared. The shop counter looks inviting. The silhouette is so clear that it works unfinished just as well as brightly painted. You decide whether it stays simple or stands out with colour and decoration. And if you love crafting, this cutout is a basic shape you can turn into something new again and again.
Material & finish
The silhouette is laser-cut from 3 mm poplar plywood. This gives smooth edges and a precise shape, with the typical brown edge. The wood is left untreated, neither varnished nor glazed. Paints, glues and oils stick to it well, and the pale, slightly rough poplar texture stays visible. Wood is a purely natural material. Differences in shade, fine textures in the grain and small knots are part of it. They make every piece one of a kind. Every cutout is made in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia.

Good to know about the poplar wood coffee cup
Poplar plywood is particularly light and has a pale, even surface. That makes it easy to hang, glue on and cover with just a few coats of paint. This is why it's a popular material for craft motifs where you want to see results quickly.
Care & durability
There isn't much you need to do. Store the silhouette in a dry place and keep it away from constant moisture. Then the untreated wood keeps its natural look for a long time. If you paint or oil the motif, you give the surface extra protection. You can also change the colour and feel of the wood as you like.

Frequently asked questions
Can I paint or decorate the wooden coffee cup? Yes. The wood is untreated, neither varnished nor glazed. Acrylic paints, pens, glue or oil are easy to apply.
Where does the brown edge come from? The silhouette is laser-cut. This creates the typical brown laser edge. It's part of the cutting process and also gives you smooth edges.
How wide is the silhouette? The width matches the height you choose. At 10 cm high, the cutout is also 10 cm wide.
Does every piece look the same? The shape is identical, the wood isn't. As a natural material, it shows different shades, fine textures and occasionally small knots. Every piece is one of a kind.
Is the cup suitable for bigger projects too? Yes. You can order it individually or as a set of 10, 25, 50 or 100 pieces. That's handy for craft groups, place cards or shop decoration, for example.
This is about more than a wooden cutout. It's about the moment your guests sit down at the coffee table. They spot the little cup at their place and feel welcome straight away. Just choose your size and quantity. You design the rest.
