Not sure which to choose? With a Bütic gift voucher you can never get it wrong.A shelf in the kitchen, a blank wall in a café, a gift that still needs a matching motif. Sometimes you are missing just one image that shows your love of coffee. This wooden coffee press is that kind of motif. It is a cleanly laser-cut silhouette in poplar plywood, made for your coffee corner. You paint it, decorate it or leave it natural. And a plain wooden cutout becomes your very own decoration.
What changes for you
- You can style your décor exactly the way you like – because the wood is untreated and can be painted, decorated, coated or oiled.
- Your motif always fits its spot, from a small gift tag to a shop window. You can choose any height from 5 to 50 cm in 1 cm steps.
- You can start crafting straight away, with no sanding or reworking. The laser-cut edges are smooth and cleanly cut.
- You can easily kit out larger projects too, such as table decorations for a party or your shop display. Sets of 10, 25, 50 or 100 pieces are available.
- You're holding a genuine natural material instead of printed card. Every piece has its own grain, so each one is unique.
Why this wooden coffee press makes a difference every day
Decorations work in a room when the motif suits the place. Few motifs speak so quietly of enjoyment and taking a break as a coffee maker. Hang it on the kitchen wall, on the shelf above the coffee machine or at the counter in a café. The silhouette is instantly recognisable and brings warmth to the room. And because you design it yourself, yours will look different from anyone else's.
Material & finish
The coffee press is laser-cut from 3 mm poplar plywood. It has the typical fine brown edge. This edge gives the motif a clear outline, with no frame needed. The wood is untreated, neither varnished nor stained. It takes paint, glue or oil well. Wood is a purely natural material. So it can be lighter or darker and may show small knots or irregularities in the grain. This makes every piece unique. Each cutout is made in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia.

Good to know about the coffee press
The coffee press is also known as a French press or cafetière. Few devices stand so clearly for slow coffee enjoyment: just coffee, hot water and a little patience. The silhouette carries this calm as a motif. That makes it a good fit for kitchens, cafés and anywhere people take a deliberate break.
Care & durability
There is not much you need to do. As the wood is untreated, keep the silhouette dry and protect it from constant moisture. Painting, varnishing or oiling it also makes the surface more durable. That way your motif stays looking good for a long time.

Frequently asked questions
Is the wood treated? No, the silhouette is untreated, neither varnished nor glazed. You can paint, decorate, coat or oil it straight away.
Where does the brown edge come from? It is created during laser cutting and is typical of this cutting method. It frames the motif, and the edges are smooth.
Are colour differences between pieces normal? Yes. Wood is a natural material and can be lighter or darker. Small knots and variations in the grain are part of it. They make every piece one of a kind.
Can I order several pieces at once? Yes. As well as single pieces, there are sets of 10, 25, 50 or 100. They suit craft groups, parties or shop displays, for example.
