The cherries are made of 3 mm plywood. They are laser-cut in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia. This creates smooth, clean edges with the characteristic brown rim. It forms a nice contrast that brings out the silhouette. The wood is left natural, neither varnished nor glazed. It takes paint, oil and glue well. As a natural material, every piece is unique. Differences in shade, fine patterns in the grain and small knots are not flaws. They are part of the wood's character.
