Material & finish

The crib is laser-cut from 3 mm poplar plywood in our own production in Pößneck. The laser cut gives smooth, clean edges and the typical brown rim, which outlines the motif finely. It feels pleasant in the hand and has no sharp burrs, even when children join in. The wood is untreated, neither varnished nor glazed. That is why it takes paint, glue and oil well. As a natural material, it varies in shade and grain and sometimes has small knots. This is not a flaw. It is exactly what makes each piece unique.
