Not sure which to choose? With a Bütic gift voucher you can never get it wrong. The children's party is just around the corner. The money gift for a wedding should be more than an envelope. Or the shop window display needs a finishing touch. And you're missing a shape that instantly says celebration. That's exactly what this wooden crown is made for. It's a cleanly laser-cut crown silhouette in plywood, untreated and ready for your ideas. You paint it, decorate it or write on it. And a plain wooden cutout becomes a decoration that's entirely your own.
What changes for you
- You'll find the right size for every project. The crown can be ordered in widths from 3 to 50 cm in 1 cm steps. That covers everything from small table scatter to large wall decorations.
- Your craft afternoon can start straight away, with no sawing or sanding. The cutout comes ready laser-cut with smooth edges.
- You can decorate it any way you like with paint, glue or oil. The wood is untreated and takes any finish.
- Bigger projects are easy to plan. The crown is available singly or in sets of 10, 25, 50 or 100 pieces.
- Your decorations look finished and well thought out, not randomly homemade. That's down to the clean workmanship of German production.
Why this wooden crown makes a difference every day
A ready-cut shape takes care of the most tedious part and leaves you the best part: decorating. Maybe you're crafting with children at the kitchen table. Maybe you're getting ready for a party. Either way, you can focus on colours and ideas, not tools. The silhouette has clear, simple lines. So it fits easily on the wall, on a gift or into your table decorations.
Material & finish
The crown is laser-cut from 3 mm plywood. This creates the typical brown edge, which gives the shape a fine, almost drawn outline. The edges are smooth, so you can pick up the cutout and work with it straight away. The wood is left untreated, neither varnished nor stained. This means paint, glue and oil adhere reliably. Wood is a natural material and is never completely uniform. Variations in shade, fine grain patterns and small knots are part of it and make every piece one of a kind. The crown is made in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia.

How to use your wooden crown
- At a children's party: each child paints their own little crown. And at the end, they take home a keepsake they designed themselves.
- Making money gifts: stick notes or coins onto a gold-painted crown. And instead of a plain envelope, you have a gift that stands out on the gift table.
- Crafting with children on rainy days: get out the brushes and add some glitter. The smooth edges are easy and safe to hold, even for small hands.
- In a café or bakery: a large crown in the window or on the counter announces special offer weeks, Epiphany or seasonal specialities. It's quick to put up and quick to put away again.
- As part of your Christmas decorations: paint small crowns gold or white and use them as hanging ornaments or table scatter. That sets the festive mood.
Good to know about the crown
For centuries, the crown has stood for dignity and special moments. It's no coincidence that a birthday crown is a fixed part of children's parties in many families. Around Epiphany, the motif also appears in shop windows and on festive tables. That's why this cutout suits so many occasions. It visibly turns an ordinary day into a special one.
Care & durability
There isn't much you need to do. Keep the untreated crown dry and away from constant moisture. That way the wood keeps its shape and looks good for a long time. If you paint or oil it, you decide how the surface is protected.

Frequently asked questions
Can I paint or decorate the wooden crown? Yes. The plywood is untreated, neither varnished nor stained. You can paint it, oil it, stick things on it or decorate it however you like.
How tall is the crown at a given width? The height depends on the width. At a width of 10 cm, it is 7.5 cm tall. Other sizes scale accordingly.
Why does the crown have a brown edge? The cutout is laser-cut. The brown edge is typical of this process. It also gives you smooth edges with no finishing needed.
Does every crown look exactly the same? The shape does, the wood not quite. As a natural material, it shows variations in shade, fine textures and occasionally small knots. Every piece is one of a kind.
A wooden cutout is only the starting point. What counts is the moment a child proudly holds up their self-painted crown. Or the moment your money gift brings a genuine smile. Just choose your width and quantity. You design the rest.
