The chick is laser-cut from 3 mm poplar plywood. It has the typical fine brown edge, which frames the silhouette and gives it a clear outline. As a natural material, each chick shows its own grain. Some are lighter, some darker, and some have small knots. That makes every piece one of a kind. The chicks are made in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia.

Where does the brown edge come from? The chicks are laser-cut. The fine brown edge comes from the laser cut and is typical of this process. It also means the edges are smooth and clean.

Do all chicks look exactly the same? The shape is identical for all of them. But wood is a natural material. The grain, shade and small knots vary slightly. Each piece is one of a kind.
