Material & finish

The lantern is laser-cut from 3 mm plywood in our own production in Pößneck. The laser cut gives smooth edges and the typical brown rim. This rim gives the motif a fine outline. The wood is left natural, neither varnished nor glazed. So you can decorate, paint, coat or oil it. As a natural material, it shows different shades and grain patterns. Now and then it has small knots. This makes every piece unique and is not a defect.
