The top side has the etched outlines, the underside is left natural. The wood is untreated, neither varnished nor glazed. That's why it takes paint, oil and glue well. As a purely natural material, it shows different shades, fine grain patterns and occasionally small knots. This is not a flaw. It makes each piece one of a kind. The cutout is made in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia.
