Not sure which to choose? With a Bütic gift voucher you can never get it wrong. The bunting for the Oktoberfest party is still missing. The table for your Bavarian evening should get something special. And you are looking for a blank that leaves real room for your ideas. That is exactly what these wooden lederhosen are made for. They are bib lederhosen as a shaped cutout in poplar plywood. You can paint them, decorate them or write on them. A few plain wooden lederhosen become table decorations, bunting or gift tags with a traditional costume motif.
What changes for you
- You design your decorations just the way you imagine them. The wood is untreated, so you can paint, oil, decorate or colour it.
- You will find the right size for anything from gift tags to wall decorations. Choose a height from 5 to 50 cm in 1 cm steps.
- You do not have to draw the bib, braces and seams yourself. All outlines are already marked with partial laser cuts.
- You can carry on working straight away without sanding. The laser cut leaves smooth edges.
- You can also kit out larger projects, such as bunting or place cards for the whole festive table. Order singly or in sets of 10, 25, 50 or 100.
Why these wooden lederhosen make a difference
Shop-bought decorations look the same everywhere. A wooden blank, on the other hand, becomes your own piece. You might write names on place cards. You might craft with children at the kitchen table. Or you might design a whole string of bunting for the club party. The motif instantly brings a traditional Bavarian mood. The light, smooth poplar plywood surface is easy to paint and write on. The result is decoration that does not look mass-produced. It looks like you.
Material & finish
The lederhosen are laser cut from 3 mm poplar plywood. This gives them the typical brown edge that frames the motif. The surface is untreated. It is neither varnished nor glazed, so paint, glue and oil adhere well. Wood is a purely natural material. It varies in shade, has its own grain and may have small knots. This makes every piece one of a kind and is not a defect. Every pair is made in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia, with clean, careful finishing.

How to use the wooden lederhosen
- For Oktoberfest or a Bavarian evening: put a pair with a name at every place. Your guests find their seat and something to talk about.
- As bunting over the table or bar: thread several pairs onto a string. The room is decorated for the party in just a few minutes.
- As a gift tag: write a name or greeting on it and tie it to the ribbon. Your small gift for the Oktoberfest invitation looks lovingly prepared.
- When crafting with children: put paints on the table and hand out the blanks. Every child takes home their own colourful pair of lederhosen.
- For gifts of money: fix a banknote behind the bib. A plain envelope becomes a home-made birthday surprise.
- In your shop, café or at the weekly market: use them as seasonal decorations on the counter or in the shop window. During the festival season they show your matching offers at a glance. They are quick to hang up and quick to put away again.
Good to know about lederhosen
Lederhosen have been part of traditional Alpine dress for centuries. Today they are the best-known symbol of Oktoberfest and folk festivals, far beyond Bavaria. That is why the motif works so well as decoration. Everyone recognises it straight away, whether as table decoration, bunting or a tag on an invitation.
Care & durability
There is not much you need to do. Store the untreated wood in a dry place and keep it away from constant moisture. It will then keep its natural look for a long time. If you oil or paint it, you protect the surface further and give it your own colour.
