The leopard is laser-cut from 3 mm plywood in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia. Laser cutting creates the typical brown edge that neatly outlines the silhouette. The edges are smooth, so nothing splinters or scratches. The wood stays untreated, with no varnish or glaze. This means paints, glue and oils take well. As a natural material, each piece varies in shade. Small knots or variations in the grain are part of it. That's what makes every figure one of a kind.
