A seaside wreath on the door, a few greetings cards for a summer birthday or table scatter for a First Communion table. Sometimes all you need is the right motif to tie everything together. That is exactly what the wooden lighthouse V3 is for. It is a clear lighthouse silhouette in poplar plywood, made for your nautical decorations. Pick it up, reach for a brush or glue – and a plain cutout becomes your own piece of coastline.

What changes for you

  • You bring a seaside feel into your home without searching for the right motif. The silhouette makes the lighthouse instantly recognisable.
  • You can start decorating straight away. The wood is untreated, so you can paint it, stick things on it, oil it or varnish it, just as you like.
  • You will find the right size for every project. Choose from 5 cm for table scatter up to 50 cm as a free-standing decorative figure, in 1 cm steps.
  • There is no sanding needed. Laser cutting gives smooth edges that do not fray.
  • Planning larger craft sessions is easy. You can buy the lighthouse on its own or in sets of 10, 25, 50 or 100.

Why this wooden lighthouse makes a difference every day

A wooden lighthouse gives your home a clear nautical shape that you design yourself. Ready-made decorations often don't let you do that. Red and white stripes, soft natural tones with oil or brightly painted by children: every piece shows your own style. And if you want to make your own lighthouse, this cutout gives you a clean base. You don't have to saw anything yourself.

Material & finish

The cutout is made from 3 mm poplar plywood. It is laser-cut in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia. This creates the typical brown edge, which gives the motif a fine outline. The edges are smooth and the finish is clean, so paint and glue stick well. The wood is a purely natural material. Its shade and grain always vary a little, and small knots may occur. This makes every piece unique and is not a defect.

How to use the wooden lighthouse

  • For handmade greetings cards: Glue a small lighthouse onto the card. A simple greeting becomes a nautical card that stands out in the letterbox.
  • As table scatter for a celebration: For a First Communion, Confirmation or summer party, spread the small silhouettes between the place settings. The seaside theme then runs across the whole table.
  • On a seaside wreath: Placed between shells and rope, the lighthouse forms a recognisable centre. It sets the theme for the whole wreath.
  • At a craft afternoon with children: Each child paints their own lighthouse. At the end, they proudly take it home.
  • In a café, fishmonger's or at a market stall: Use larger cutouts on the counter or in the shop window for a quick nautical display. With sets of up to 100, you can also cover promotions and seasonal decorations without reordering.

Good to know about the lighthouse

The lighthouse has always stood for guidance, protection and the safe way home. That makes it much more than a coastal motif. This symbolism makes it popular for christenings, First Communions and Confirmations. It is also a lucky charm for starting school or moving house. And of course it suits anything that should look like the sea, holidays and wanderlust.

Care & durability

There is not much you need to do. As the wood is untreated, it is best to keep the cutout dry and away from constant moisture. If you paint, glaze or oil it, you give the surface extra protection. Your decoration will then look good for a long time.

Frequently asked questions

Is the wood already treated? No, the lighthouse arrives untreated – neither varnished nor glazed. So you can paint it, decorate it, oil it or varnish it however you like.

Where does the brown edge come from? The cutout is laser-cut. This creates the typical brown edge, which gives the motif a clear outline – with no sanding needed.

How wide is the lighthouse? The width increases in proportion to the height. At a height of 10 cm, it is 3 cm wide. This helps you estimate the right size for your project.

Why do the cutouts look different? Wood is a natural material. Shade, grain and small knots vary from piece to piece. This is normal and makes every cutout unique.

Picture your own lighthouse standing on the windowsill. It brings a little piece of coastline into your home. Simply choose your height and quantity – and get started.
