Material & finish

The lips are made from 3 mm plywood and laser-cut in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia. The laser cut gives smooth edges and the typical brown rim, which gives the motif a fine outline. The wood is untreated, neither varnished nor glazed. So it takes paint, glue or oil well. As a natural material, wood is never completely uniform. Different shades, small knots or variations in the grain are normal. They make each piece unique – not a flaw, but character.
