The sea turtle is laser-cut from 3 mm plywood. This gives it the typical brown edge, which makes the motif look finished. The top side has laser-scored contour lines. The underside is left plain, so you can decide which side to decorate. The wood is untreated, neither varnished nor glazed. This means you can stick things on it, paint it, coat it or oil it. Every turtle is made in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia. Wood is a purely natural material, so the shade and grain always vary slightly. Small knots are part of it too. That's what makes every piece unique.
