Material & finish

The figure is laser-cut from 3 mm plywood. It has the brown edge typical of laser cutting, which gives it a handmade look. The top shows the scored outlines. The back is left natural, so you have a smooth surface for your own design. Wood is a purely natural material. Brightness, grain and small knots vary slightly from piece to piece. That makes each figure unique, not faulty. The mermaid is made in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia.
