Material & finish

The microphone is made of 3 mm thick plywood and is laser cut. This gives it a clean, precise outline and edges that don't splinter. The top side shows the fine contour cut. The underside is left natural. The wood is neither varnished nor glazed, so paint and glue adhere reliably. Wood is a purely natural material, so every piece turns out slightly different. Some are lighter, some darker, each with its own grain, sometimes with small knots. That is exactly what makes each piece one of a kind. The cutout is made in our own production at Bütic in Pößneck, Thuringia.
