Material & finish

The pug is laser-cut from 3 mm plywood. It is made in our own production at Bütic in Pößneck, Thuringia. The edges are smooth and cleanly cut. The fine brown rim comes from the laser and gives the silhouette its clear outline. The wood is untreated, neither varnished nor glazed. So you can paint, decorate, coat or oil it straight away. As a purely natural material, it shows different shades, fine textures and the occasional small knot. This isn't a flaw. It's exactly what makes every piece unique.
