The craft table is set and the paints are ready. All that's missing is a motif that not everyone has. The wooden nose bunny is a fantasy figure made of untreated plywood. You can paint it, stick things on it or simply use it as it is for decorating. It's just right for your next craft afternoon. Choose exactly the size that suits your idea, from a tiny 3 cm up to an impressive 50 cm.

What changes for you

  • You can design it freely because the wood is untreated. Paint, stain, oil or glue – everything sticks directly to the natural surface.
  • Your motif always fits. You choose the height from 3 to 50 cm in 1 cm steps – from a small gift tag to a large window figure.
  • You can get started straight away. Thanks to the smooth laser-cut edges, there's no sanding or finishing needed.
  • Your decoration gets a character of its own. The nose bunny is a Bütic fantasy figure that you'll only find from our own production.
  • You can plan bigger projects with ease. The cutout is available singly or in sets of 10, 25, 50 or 100 pieces.

Why this wooden nose bunny makes a difference in everyday life

A shop-bought decoration looks the same in every home. A nose bunny you've designed yourself tells your story. Stand it in the window, give it as a painted little gift or paint and decorate it together with children. A plain wooden cutout becomes a piece that belongs in your home. And because the figure is so unusual, it raises a smile almost by itself.

Material & finish

The nose bunny is laser-cut from 3 mm plywood. This gives it the typical brown edge that finely traces its outline. The edges are smooth and the finish is clean. The figure feels pleasant in the hand and is safe to work with. The wood is left untreated, so it is neither varnished nor glazed. That makes it the ideal base for paint, glue or oil. As a purely natural material, wood is never completely uniform. Variations in shade, fine grain patterns and small knots are part of it and make every piece unique. The cutout is made in Bütic's own production in Pößneck, Thuringia.

How to use your nose bunny

  • Crafting with children: Each child paints their own nose bunny. In the end, a small colourful herd stands on the windowsill and everyone is proud of it.
  • For money gifts: Add a small nose bunny to the envelope or gift ribbon. A plain envelope becomes a gift with a wink.
  • For spring and Easter decorations: Spread a few figures in different sizes around the window or table. The room instantly looks playful and fresh.
  • In nurseries, schools or craft groups: With a set of 25, 50 or 100 pieces, every participant has their blank in hand straight away. No cutting, no preparation.
  • In your shop: As a painted figure in the window or counter display of a bakery or café, the unusual nose bunny catches people's eye. Customers will remember it.

Good to know about the nose bunny

The hare has long been a symbol of spring and new life. That's why it is still part of Easter today. The nose bunny is our own playful fantasy version of this classic. It's familiar enough for spring decorations and quirky enough to bring joy all year round.

Care & durability

There's not much you need to do. Store the untreated wooden cutout in a dry place and protect it from constant moisture. Then it will keep its shape and natural surface for a long time. Painting, oiling or varnishing it gives the surface extra protection.

Frequently asked questions

Is the wood treated? No, the cutout is untreated – neither varnished nor glazed. You can paint, decorate, coat or oil it straight away.

Why does the figure have a brown edge? The nose bunny is laser-cut. This creates the typical brown edge that emphasises the outline. The edges are smooth and don't need sanding.

How wide is the figure? The width depends on the height you choose. For reference: at a height of 10 cm, the nose bunny is 9 cm wide.

Are small knotholes or colour differences a defect? No. Wood is a purely natural material. It always shows different structures, shades and small knots – and that is exactly what makes every piece unique.

A plain silhouette becomes your very own nose bunny. You paint it, give it away or proudly stand it in the window. Just choose your size and quantity and get started.
