Not sure which to choose? With a Bütic gift voucher you can never get it wrong.Freshly sown, carefully watered – and two weeks later you wonder: was that basil or parsley? With wooden plant labels, you keep track from the first seed to the harvest. You label the untreated blank labels exactly the way you need. They are just right for your raised bed.
What changes for you
- You can see at a glance what is growing where. Each label has space for your own writing, whether in a flower pot, cold frame or greenhouse.
- You design the labels just the way you like. The wood is untreated, so you can stick things on, draw, paint or oil it.
- Your bed looks calm and tidy rather than a colourful jumble. That comes from the simple shapes and the natural material.
- You always have enough for the next sowing. You choose between sets of 10, 25, 50 or 100.
- You work with clean, smooth edges and no splinters. Each label is laser-cut and gets the typical brown edge in the process.
Why these plant labels make a difference every day
A labelled bed saves you the guesswork. This matters most in the weeks when seedlings still look almost identical. Use the blank labels as herb markers in the raised bed, flower markers in the border or plant markers when sowing. They keep your garden organised without standing out. The wood sits naturally between soil and plants. Your handwriting makes each label your own.
Material & finish
The plant labels are made from 3 mm plywood. They are laser-cut in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia, with smooth edges and clean finishing. The surface is untreated, neither varnished nor glazed. So it takes paint, oil or pen well, and you decide on the design yourself. Wood is a purely natural material. Differences in shade, fine grain patterns and small knots are normal. They make each label one of a kind and are not a defect.

How to use the plant labels
- When sowing in the cold frame: each row gets its own label. Even before the first leaf, you know where the radishes and where the carrots are coming up.
- In the herb garden or raised bed: labelled as herb markers, they help even your guests pick the right herb when cooking.
- In a flower pot on the windowsill: one small label per pot keeps your seedlings on the kitchen window easy to track.
- At the weekly market or farm shop: note varieties and prices by hand. Your produce looks lovingly presented, and setting up is quick.
- For crafting with children or as a gift idea: paint the labels, decorate them and push them into the soil. A personal little gift for anyone who loves gardening.
Good to know about laser-cut plant labels
The brown edge forms during laser cutting. The heat darkens the cut edge and smooths it at the same time. For you, this means no splintery edges when you push the label into the soil. You also get a fine contrast that frames the shape of each label.
Care & durability
There is not much you need to do. Indoors and in a sheltered greenhouse, you can use the labels as they are. As the wood is untreated, it is worth oiling or painting the labels before using them outdoors. That way the writing stays legible for longer. Try to spare the natural material from constant wet.
