The children's party is coming up. Brushes and paints are waiting on the table. And the children can't wait to get started. This wooden Pinocchio is made for exactly that. It's an untreated plywood figure that you can paint, decorate with stickers or simply leave natural. The plain wooden boy becomes your very own fairy-tale character.

What changes for you

  • You can start painting, oiling or decorating straight away. The wood is untreated and takes paint well.
  • You get exactly the size you need. Choose anything from 5 to 50 cm in 1 cm steps.
  • Your crafting session with children stays relaxed. The laser-cut edges are smooth, so nobody catches on rough edges.
  • You can plan bigger projects without reordering. Sets of 10 to 100 pieces are ideal for school, nursery or club events.
  • Your decoration looks planned rather than thrown together. Every figure has the same clean silhouette.

Why this wooden Pinocchio figure makes a difference in everyday life

Ready-printed decorations look the same everywhere. A wooden figure you design yourself tells your story. Use it in a child's bedroom, as part of a fairy-tale table setting or as a small party favour. The Pinocchio made of untreated plywood feels smooth in your hand and invites you to touch it. And because you choose the size and design yourself, it fits your idea – not the other way round.

Material & finish

The figure is laser-cut from 3 mm plywood in our own production in Pößneck. The laser cut gives smooth edges. It also leaves the typical, slightly browned cut edge, which gives the figure a fine outline. The wood stays natural – not varnished, not glazed. So you can paint it, oil it or stick things on it, just as you like. As a natural material, every piece has its own shade, grain and sometimes small knots. That's not a flaw. It's what makes every figure one of a kind.

How to use the wooden Pinocchio

  • At a children's party: Every child paints their own figure. At the end, they take home a keepsake they made themselves.
  • In a child's bedroom: Put a large Pinocchio on the wall or on a shelf. Your fairy-tale corner now has its centrepiece.
  • As a gift tag: Tie a small figure to the ribbon. The parcel looks lovingly made before anyone has even opened it.
  • At nursery and school: With the set of 25 or 50, every child gets the same starting figure for fairy-tale crafts. You don't need to buy extra pieces one by one.
  • In the shop window or at the counter: Arrange several figures in different sizes. Your seasonal or bookshop display is quick to set up and just as quick to pack away.

Good to know about Pinocchio

Pinocchio was created by the Italian author Carlo Collodi. His story of the wooden boy was published as a book in 1883. So the character itself was "born" from wood. That's why it suits everything to do with reading aloud and storytelling. Use it to decorate a reading corner, as a tag for a book gift or for a craft project after a bedtime story.

Care & durability

There's not much you need to do. Keep the figure dry and away from constant moisture. The untreated wood will then keep its shape and look good for a long time. If you paint or oil it, you protect the surface even more. You also give it exactly the shade that suits your decoration.

Frequently asked questions

Can I paint the Pinocchio? Yes. The wood is untreated and you can paint it, oil it, stick things on it or decorate it however you like.

Why does the figure have a brown edge? The edge is created during laser cutting and is part of the cutting process. It traces the silhouette finely and gives smooth edges.

Do all figures look the same? The shape is identical, but the wood is a natural material. Shade, grain and small knots vary. Every piece is one of a kind.

How wide is the figure? The width depends on the height. At a height of 10 cm, the figure is 9.5 cm wide.

Are there quantity options? Yes. Besides single pieces, there are sets of 10, 25, 50 or 100. They're handy for groups, schools or shop displays.

What really counts isn't the plywood silhouette. It's the moment a child proudly holds up the figure they painted. Or the moment your fairy-tale decoration looks exactly as you imagined. Just choose your size and get started.
