Material & finish

The square is made of 3 mm plywood and laser cut in our own production in Pößneck. Laser cutting creates smooth edges and the typical brown rim. It shows that each piece has been cut by laser. The corners are rounded with a 5 mm radius. They feel comfortable in your hand and have no sharp points. The wood is untreated, neither varnished nor glazed. Paints, glues and oils stick directly to the surface. As a natural material, wood is never completely uniform. Different shades, fine grain patterns and small knots are part of it. They make every piece unique.

Good to know about plywood
