These wooden rectangles with rounded corners and two holes are made for your craft table. Thread ribbon or wire through the holes. The rectangles are made of 3 mm poplar plywood. It is light, keeps its shape and feels pleasant in your hand. Every piece is laser-cut in our own production in Pößneck. The laser cut gives smooth edges and the typical brown edge, which looks like a fine frame. The wood is left untreated, so it is neither varnished nor glazed. You can stick things on, paint, write on or oil it, just as your project needs. Wood is a natural material, so every rectangle is one of a kind. The grain, small knots and differences in shade are part of it and are not a defect.

Good to know about laser cutting

The brown edge is created during laser cutting. The heat seals the cut surface and turns it dark. For you this means no frayed edges and no sanding. The dark border naturally frames painted or written surfaces. On name tags and tags in particular, it looks like a deliberate design feature.

Care & durability

There isn't much you need to do. Simply store them somewhere dry, and the rectangles will keep their shape and light colour for a long time. Don't expose the untreated poplar plywood to constant moisture. If you want to use the pieces outdoors, protect them first with paint, varnish or oil.
