Not sure which to choose? With a Bütic gift voucher you can never get it wrong. The days are getting shorter. Candles, fir sprigs and a few pine cones sit on the table. And there is still room for one last detail in the middle. A fawn silhouette in untreated wood brings that quiet woodland mood to your table, your window or your wreath. The standing fawn is made from 3 mm poplar plywood and suits your autumn and winter decorations. You choose the height freely from 5 to 50 cm. So the fawn fits your idea, not the other way round.
What changes for you
- Your decorations fit together instead of looking thrown together. That's because you order the fawn in exactly the size that suits your wreath, windowsill or table centre (5–50 cm, in 1 cm steps).
- You can start crafting, painting or gluing straight away. The wood is untreated and takes paint, glue and oil easily.
- No sanding or tidying up needed. The silhouette is laser cut and arrives with smooth, clean edges.
- You can decorate with a good feeling. Every fawn is made in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia.
- For bigger projects, children's groups or shop displays, you'll have plenty to hand. Sets come with 10, 25, 50 or 100 pieces.
Why this fawn silhouette makes a difference every day
A small wooden woodland animal changes the mood of a room in a quiet way. It looks natural, warm and a little playful without taking centre stage. Use it as table scatter between plates, as a window decoration against the light or on its own on the counter. The fawn gives your decorations a motif that children and adults recognise and like straight away. And because it is untreated, you decide whether it stays natural or gets some colour.
Material & finish
The fawn is made from 3 mm poplar plywood. It is light, keeps its shape and feels nice in your hand. Laser cutting gives a precise outline and smooth edges that don't fray. The wood is completely untreated. So you can paint, oil, stain or glue it, whatever your project needs. Good to know: wood is a purely natural material. Its shade varies, it shows more or less grain and it may have small knots. This makes every piece unique. It is not a defect.

How to use the wooden fawn
- At an Advent dinner: put a small fawn at every place, perhaps with a name written on it. Your guests will find their seats with a smile.
- In the window: hang several silhouettes in different sizes. This creates a window picture that works from outside and inside.
- Crafting with children: each child paints their own fawn. That's an afternoon of fun and a keepsake that lasts.
- In a wreath or arrangement: place it between twigs and pine cones. The woodland animal motif brings autumn to your table.
- For cafés, bakeries or shops: use it as table scatter in the display or on price tags. The motif gives your counter a seasonal, lovingly arranged look. With a set of 25, 50 or 100 pieces, you'll have enough for the whole season.
Good to know about the fawn
Hardly any animal stands for our native forests as much as the deer. Felix Salten wrote the story of Bambi in 1923, and Disney made it into a film in 1942. Since then at the latest, the fawn has had a firm place in our hearts. That's exactly why the motif works so well: in autumn and Christmas decorations, at a woodland-themed children's party or as part of a natural table setting.
Care & durability
There's not much you need to do. Keep the untreated wood dry and protect it from constant moisture. Then it will keep its light, natural look for a long time. If you paint or oil it, the surface becomes more resistant too.

Frequently asked questions
Can I paint the fawn or glue things onto it? Yes. The poplar plywood is untreated. You can paint, oil, stain, colour and glue it.
How wide is the figure? The width depends on the height you choose. At a height of 10 cm, the fawn is approx. 6 cm wide.
Do all fawns look the same? Thanks to laser cutting, the shape is always identical. The wood itself varies slightly in shade and grain. As a natural product, every piece is unique.
Are there larger quantities for bigger projects? Yes. You can order the fawn singly or in sets of 10, 25, 50 or 100. That's handy for craft groups, schools or shop decorations.
A wooden cutout is only the start. Think of the moment your guests spot the little deer on the laid table. Or when your child proudly puts their own painted fawn in the window. Just choose your height and quantity. The rest happens when you get crafting together.
