- You can follow your own ideas. The wood is untreated, so you can decorate, paint, coat or oil it.

Why this wooden fawn makes a difference every day
A woodland animal made of real wood feels different from printed decorations. The grain stays visible and you can feel the surface. The silhouette suits almost any style on the windowsill, on the table or in the children's room. Leave it natural and simple, or paint it in bright, playful colours. With little effort, you create an arrangement that works on the windowsill, on the table or in the children's room.
Material & finish
The fawn is made of 3 mm plywood and cut with a laser. This gives clean, smooth edges and a precise shape. It feels pleasant to the touch and is easy to work with. The contour lines are on the top, and the underside is left natural. The wood is not varnished or glazed, so paint and glue stick well. Every piece is made in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia. Wood is a natural material, so each cutout has its own grain, slight colour differences or small knots. This is not a flaw. It makes every piece one of a kind.

How to use the wooden fawn
- At a crafting afternoon with children: each child paints their own fawn. At the end, they proudly take home a woodland animal they made themselves.
- For a birth or christening: put a small fawn on the greeting card or the gift. Your thoughtful gesture will be remembered.
- In the children's room: combine several sizes on a shelf or wall. This creates a little woodland world in the room.
- On a festive table: place a silhouette at each setting. Your guests have something to discover even before the first course.
- In a shop or café: with a set of 25, 50 or 100, you can decorate shop windows, counters or tables in a uniform look. It's quick to set up, and you don't have to order single cutouts.
Good to know about the fawn
Few woodland animals stand for gentleness and new beginnings like the fawn. Since Bambi at the latest, it has been one of the most popular animal motifs of all. That's why the lying silhouette suits occasions around birth and christening. It also works for spring and autumn decorations and anything with a forest and nature theme.
Care & durability
There isn't much you need to do. Keep the untreated wood dry and it will keep its natural look for a long time. Avoid constant moisture. If you want to use the fawn outdoors, you can paint or oil it first to give the surface extra protection.

Frequently asked questions
Can I paint the fawn or stick things on it? Yes. The plywood is untreated, so paints, varnishes, oils and glues stick well to the surface.
Are the contour lines on both sides? No. The fine contour lines are only cut into the top. The underside stays smooth and natural.
Do all cutouts look the same? Thanks to laser cutting, the shape is always identical. Wood is a natural material, so brightness, grain and small knots can vary slightly from piece to piece. This is what makes every fawn unique.
How wide is the fawn? The width depends on the height you choose. At a height of 10 cm, the fawn is approx. 9 cm wide.
A simple piece of wood becomes a little fawn in your hands. It can make children's eyes light up or stand on a shelf as simple wooden decoration. Just choose your size – single or as a set – and get started.
