The reindeer is laser-cut from 3 mm plywood. That is where the smooth edges come from. It also explains the characteristic brown edge, which gives the design its outline. The wood is untreated, neither varnished nor glazed. So it takes paints, glues and oils well. Wood is a natural material. It can turn out lighter or darker and may show small irregularities or knots in the grain. That makes every piece one of a kind. Every reindeer is made in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia.

How to use the wooden reindeer
