Material & finish

The seal is laser-cut from 3 mm plywood in our own production at Bütic in Pößneck, Thuringia. The laser cut gives smooth edges and the typical brown rim, which outlines the silhouette finely. The wood is neither varnished nor glazed. It takes paint, glue and oil well. Wood is a natural material, so every piece turns out slightly different. Variations in shade, fine structures in the grain and small knots are not flaws. They make every seal unique.
