Why this wooden sheep makes a difference in everyday life
A ready-made blank takes away the hurdle between idea and result. There is no long preparation. You sit at the table with the children. You watch the light wood slowly become a spring decoration, an Easter ornament or a little farm for the children's room. The shape can be combined with other farm animals. So over time a whole country scene grows from it – piece by piece, at your own pace.
Material & finish
The sheep is laser-cut from 3 mm plywood. This gives it the typical fine brown edge. It is a clear sign of this production method. The edges are smooth, so you can hand the sheep to children. The top has the scored contour lines. The underside is left natural. The wood is neither varnished nor glazed. You can paint it, oil it or stick things on, just as your project needs. Wood is a natural material, so each piece is unique. Small differences in tone and grain or tiny knots are part of it. Every sheep is made in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia.

How to use the wooden sheep
- Crafting with kids: Each child paints their own little sheep – and proudly takes home a piece they designed themselves.
- At Easter: Scatter several small sheep across the table – and your spring table looks lovingly set with little effort.
- In the children's room: Together with other farm animals, it becomes a little farm – a theme for play and decoration that grows with your child.
- As a gift tag or card decoration: A small sheep on the parcel – and it brings a smile even before the unwrapping.
- In a café, farm shop or at the market: Used as decoration on the counter, shelf or price tag, the country motif highlights your products – quick to attach, lasting for a long time.
- In nursery, school or craft group: With sets of 10, 25, 50 or 100 pieces, the whole group gets the same shape – and preparation takes just minutes.
Good to know about the sheep
For centuries, the lamb has been a symbol of spring, new beginnings and Easter. That is why it fits so naturally into spring and Easter decorations. The sheep also stands for country life like hardly any other animal. So it suits farm themes and rustic decoration.
Care & durability
Care is simple: just dust it dry when needed. The plywood is untreated, so protect it from wet and lasting damp. Or paint or oil it as you like. Then your sheep stays the way you designed it for a long time.
