The moustache is laser-cut from 3 mm plywood. This gives the cut edges the typical brown rim, which also emphasises the outline. The wood is untreated, neither varnished nor glazed. Brightness, grain, small irregularities or knots vary from piece to piece. This is not a flaw. It's what makes each piece unique. The clean finish comes from our own production in Thuringia.

Is the wood treated? No, the plywood is left natural – neither varnished nor stained. You can paint, decorate, coat or oil it straight away.

Why do the edges have a brown rim? The moustache is laser-cut. The brown rim forms during cutting and is typical of this process. The edges are smooth.

Do all pieces look the same? The shape is identical, but the wood isn't. As a natural material, it varies in brightness and grain. Small knots may occur. Every piece is unique.

How tall is the moustache at the width I choose? The proportions stay the same. At a width of 10 cm, the height is 3 cm. Other sizes scale accordingly.
