Your coffee machine is your favourite spot in the kitchen. Only the wall above it still looks a little bare. A wooden Coffee lettering gives your coffee corner the frame it is still missing. It is warm, natural and just right for your morning coffee. The place where the machine simply stands becomes a little coffee bar of its own.

What changes for you

  • Your kitchen instantly gets a theme without much decorating. That's because the coffee lettering has joined-up letters and goes on the wall as one piece.
  • You'll find the right size for your spot. The length can be chosen in 5 cm steps from 10 to 70 cm. Go small above the machine or large above the counter.
  • You can style the lettering just the way you like. The plywood is left natural. You can cover it, paint it or oil it.
  • Putting it up is easy. You can glue it or drill it – both work. The wood is only approx. 3 mm thick and therefore light.
  • You give something that really goes down well. For coffee lovers, as a housewarming gift or tied to a bouquet, the lettering is a personal detail rather than an afterthought.

Why this Coffee lettering makes a difference every day

Lettering turns a spot into a place. Above the coffee machine, you create your own little coffee bar. In a café or restaurant, the lettering on the counter or shelf shows guests the way to their favourite drink. The light natural wood keeps the room calm. It fits in rather than pushing itself to the front. So the look stays calm and clear – every morning, for every guest.

Material & finish

The lettering is laser-cut from natural plywood and made in our own production in Pößneck. The laser cut gives clean outlines and the typical brown edge. It gives every letter a fine, warm border. The wood is left untreated, so the choice is yours. Leave it natural, paint it, oil it or cover it – the surface takes everything well. As a natural material, every piece shows its own grain. That is not a flaw. It makes your lettering one of a kind.

Dimensions & technical details

  • Material: plywood, natural (untreated)
  • Material thickness: approx. 3 mm
  • Length can be chosen in 5 cm steps, from 10 to 70 cm
  • The height depends on the length: the longer, the taller
  • Laser-cut with the typical brown cut edge
  • Joined-up letters – one continuous piece of lettering
  • Can be glued or drilled for mounting

How to use your lettering

  • Above the coffee machine: put up the lettering and place your cups next to it. Your kitchen corner now looks like a little coffee bar where you'll want to linger.
  • In a café or bakery: as coffee bar lettering on the counter or shelf, it shows guests at a glance where to get coffee. It looks tidy rather than like a makeshift sign.
  • As a gift: tie it to a bag of favourite coffee beans or to a bouquet. A kind gesture becomes a personal present.
  • For crafts and making: glue it onto boxes, trays or doors. You'll turn plain everyday items into coffee-themed decorations.

Good to know about the word Coffee

The word "coffee" goes back to the Arabic "qahwa". It came to Europe via the Turkish "kahve". So for centuries, coffee has been a drink that people like to gather around. That is exactly what the lettering stands for. It marks the place where people come together – at home and in cafés alike.

Care & durability

There's not much you need to do. An occasional dry dusting is enough. The plywood is untreated, so protect it from constant moisture. Or paint or oil it if it is going to hang in a busy spot. That way the surface will look good for a long time.

Frequently asked questions

Is the lettering treated? No, the plywood is left natural. You can leave it as it is or paint, oil or cover it as you like.

How do I mount the lettering? You can glue it or drill it. At only approx. 3 mm thick, it is light and also holds with adhesive pads or mounting adhesive.

Where does the brown edge on the letters come from? It is created during laser cutting and is typical of this process. It frames the letters and brings out the look of the wood.

Can I put the lettering up outdoors? Untreated, it belongs in a dry place. For areas with moisture, paint or oil it first and protect it from constant moisture.

Do all the letterings look the same? The shape and size are the same. But as a natural product, every piece of wood has its own grain – your lettering is one of a kind.

What really counts is a moment in the morning. You stand in front of your coffee corner, cup in hand, and it finally feels finished. Simply choose the length and font that suit your spot. The wood does the rest.
