A birthday table, a small family wedding, a spring window that still needs a bit of life, or a craft afternoon with the children. Often all that's missing is a small motif that brings everything together. That's exactly what this wooden swan is made for. It's a clear swan silhouette in plywood, untreated and ready for your ideas. You paint it, stick things on it or scatter it on the table. And a simple wooden cutout becomes your very own decoration.

What changes for you

  • You design the swan exactly the way you like it. The wood is untreated, so you can paint it, decorate it, coat it or oil it.
  • You'll find the right size for every idea. Choose any width from 3 to 50 cm in 1 cm steps, from small table scatter to wall decoration.
  • You can work comfortably without any finishing. The laser cut leaves smooth edges that don't splinter.
  • You can decorate larger projects without reordering. Sets of 10, 25, 50 or 100 pieces are available for table decorations, favours or shop windows.
  • You get a cleanly finished piece. It is made in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia.

Why this wooden swan makes a difference every day

A wooden swan fits into your decorations with little effort. Use it as table scatter at a wedding or as a large motif on the wall. The clear silhouette works on its own. It still leaves you free to design it however you like. With just a few steps, you get a result that looks like you and not like shop-bought decoration.

Material & finish

The wooden swan is laser-cut from 3 mm plywood. This gives it the typical fine brown edge, which outlines the motif. The edges are smooth and the finish is clean, so you can start designing straight away. Wood is a purely natural material. Some pieces are lighter, some darker. The grain varies, and you may occasionally see small knots. This makes every piece unique. It's not a flaw, it's character.

How to use the wooden swan

  • For a wedding: scatter small swans across the table or stick them onto place cards. Your table speaks of love and loyalty before the meal even starts.
  • For a craft afternoon: give each child a blank and some paints. By the end, a whole family of swans is hanging in the window.
  • As wall or table decoration: a large cutout, painted or left natural, gives an empty corner a calm motif.
  • In a shop or café: with a set of 25 or 50 pieces, you can decorate shop windows, counters or favours in a matching style. It's quick to set up and you won't need to reorder.
  • For cards and gifts: stick on the small sizes as decoration. A plain wrapping becomes a lovingly designed greeting.

Good to know about the swan

The swan has long been a symbol of loyalty, grace and lifelong devotion. In imagery, two swans facing each other even form a heart. That's why the motif suits weddings, engagements and anniversaries so well. It also works for spring and lake-themed decorations.

Care & durability

There's not much you need to do. Keep the untreated wooden swan dry and it will keep its natural look for a long time. Avoid constant moisture. If you want to use it outdoors, protect the wood first with paint, varnish or oil.

Frequently asked questions

Is the wooden swan already treated? No, the plywood is untreated. It is neither varnished nor glazed. You can paint it, decorate it, coat it or oil it as you like.

Where does the brown edge come from? The swan is laser-cut, which creates the typical brown edge. The edges are smooth and cleanly cut.

How tall is the swan at a particular width? As a reference: at a width of 10 cm, the height is 8.5 cm. Other sizes are in proportion.

Do all cutouts look the same? The shape is identical, but wood is a natural material. Shade, grain and small knots vary. Every piece is one of a kind.

Picture the moment your guests spot the little swans on the table. Or the moment your child proudly hangs their self-painted bird in the window. Simply choose your size and quantity. You design the rest.
