Wooden Siamese cat for crafts – plywood cutout, 5–50 cm

A rainy afternoon, paints and brushes on the table – and the children ask what they can make today. An untreated wooden Siamese cat cutout is just right for this. It has a clear silhouette, ready to be painted, decorated or covered with paper. A simple piece of plywood becomes your own decoration.

What changes for you

• You can start painting, decorating or oiling right away. The wood is unfinished, so paint sticks to it directly.
• You'll find the right size for every project, from small table scatter to a large shop window piece. You can choose any height from 5 to 50 cm in 1 cm steps.
• Crafting with children is more relaxed, because the laser-cut edges are smooth and nobody gets caught on rough spots.
• No need to saw it out by hand. The silhouette arrives cleanly laser-cut and true to shape.
• You can plan larger projects without reordering. The Siamese cat is available singly or in sets of 10, 25, 50 or 100.

Why this wooden Siamese cat makes a difference day to day

Ready-made decorations look the same for everyone. A wooden cutout you've designed yourself tells your own story. Use it as a gift tag for a cat lover, as a window decoration or as a small present. You design the wooden Siamese cat exactly the way you picture it. You choose the size and the design, so it really suits your room and your occasion.

Material & finish

The Siamese cat is laser-cut from 3 mm plywood. That's why it has smooth edges and the typical brown rim, which gives the silhouette extra definition. The wood is left natural, neither varnished nor glazed. It takes paint, glue or oil reliably. As a natural material, each piece varies in shade. Small knots or variations in the grain are part of it. This makes every cat one of a kind. The cutout is made in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia, and is cleanly finished.

How to use the wooden Siamese cat

• Crafting with children: each child paints their own cat. By the end of the afternoon, a colourful cat parade hangs in the window.
• As a gift idea: write a name on a small cat and tie it to the parcel. The cat fan among your friends will see straight away that you thought of them.
• Making money gifts: attach a banknote neatly to the silhouette. A plain envelope becomes a thoughtful birthday surprise.
• In seasonal decorations: whether you're making Christmas decorations or bringing spring to the windowsill, you can redesign the cat to suit the season.
• In a shop or vet's practice: a large cat up to 50 cm high, with your own lettering, draws attention to the counter or shop window. It's quick to set up and needs little effort.

Good to know about the Siamese cat

The Siamese cat comes from the former Kingdom of Siam, now Thailand. It is one of the oldest known cat breeds. Its slender, elegant silhouette is still unmistakable today. This clear shape makes the cutout easy to design. Even with a little paint, the cat is instantly recognisable. That makes it a good gift for anyone who loves cats.

Care & durability

There's not much to do: keep the untreated wood dry and protect it from constant moisture. That way the surface stays flat and takes paint cleanly. Once decorated and sealed, your cat will last for a long time.

Frequently asked questions

Can I paint the Siamese cat straight away? Yes. The plywood is untreated, neither varnished nor glazed. Paints, glues and oils adhere directly to the surface.

Why does the cat have a brown edge? The cutout is laser-cut. This creates the typical brown edge, which gives the silhouette extra definition. The edges are smooth.

Do all the cats look the same? The shape is identical, the wood isn't. As a natural material, it varies in shade and may show small knots or irregularities in the grain. This isn't a flaw. It makes each piece unique.

How wide is the cat? The width depends on the height you choose. At 10 cm high, the cat is 9 cm wide.

Are there quantities for larger projects? Yes. Besides single pieces, there are sets of 10, 25, 50 or 100 – for craft groups, school classes or shop decorations, for example.

Picture the moment your own cat hangs in the window. Someone asks where you got it from. Just choose your size and quantity – and get started.
