Material & finish

The speech bubble is made from 3 mm plywood and laser-cut in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia. The laser cut leaves smooth edges without splinters. It also creates the typical brown edge, which gives the shape a clear, almost drawn outline. The wood is unfinished, neither varnished nor glazed. Paints, glues and oils therefore adhere reliably. As a natural material, every piece has its own grain, varying shades and occasionally small knots. This is not a flaw – it makes every speech bubble one of a kind.
