The silhouette is made of 3 mm plywood and laser-cut in our own production in Pößneck. That's why the edges are smooth, with the typical brown rim that gives the figure a fine outline. The wood is untreated. It is neither varnished nor glazed, and it takes paint, glue or oil well. Wood is a natural material, so every silhouette turns out slightly different. Some are lighter, some darker, with small differences in the grain or the odd knot. This makes every piece one of a kind. It is not a defect.
